A universal story and a beautiful haunting score/operatic in nature but also full of Broadway bombast it pleases a wide array of audience. A beautiful and at this point very well known score with songs like “Music of the Night” and “Think of Me”. Lyrics are by Charles Hart (with additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe), and the book is by Richard Stilgoe and Lloyd Webber. The Phantom of the Opera has music by Andrew Lloyd Webber.
